 If the costs of a project
are plotted according to quality level,
they tend to be infinite for total quality. The delta
quality zone is located between a minimum acceptable level (red)
and a realistic level (green).
The delta (the grey zone) must be less than the cost of non-quality, (NQ) expressed
by two elements:
a. business impact (lost clients, disappointed clients,..) and image impact (success competition,...)
b. the cost of correction, maintenance, updating,
troubleshooting,...
