Does the W3Quality project provide a quality certificate? |
Websites are subject to frequent
changes, so a certificate runs the risk of giving an
illusion of quality, which doesn't correspond to reality.
More important than having a certificate is having quality control processes in place. This
could be included as part of a made-to-measure audit.
|
 |
Do you emphasize compliance with programming standards? |
This isn't a priority in our standard services, as we set out
to be pragmatic above all.
The priority is error-free functioning. This could be
included as part of a made-to-measure audit.
|
 |
Do you use automatic tools? |
W3Quality is a service project, it is not
run
by automatic analysis tools. We use these, but above all,
it is our experts who inspect a site, or an Intranet, piece by piece,
and who assist you in repairing faults
discovered by users. |
 |
Why a daily monitoring service? |
Intermittent crashes are notoriously
difficult to detect. Only continous monitoring can avoid
these. On the other hand the technical environment can change
without the website design team being aware of this, especially at server level (ISP, or IT
department). People always assume that
"someone" is going to check. Continuous monitoring gives
you
that "someone": us.
|
 |
Do you carry out personalized audits? |
Yes, and we adapt the criteria on the 5
points of the pentagon according to the client's priorities, adding
other critical points (e.g. security) if necessary. An initial briefing is
required.
|
 |
Which languages can W3Quality deal with? |
In principle this is unlimited. Our network of experts can cover numerous languages, even non-European
languages.
|
 |
What do I get from a W3Quality project? |
A detailed report subdivided according to problem, nature, location,
and correction suggestions. We also provide an oral debriefing
for more complex subjects (ergonomics, navigation, coherence,... ).
|
 |
How independent are you? |
This is guaranteed. Our analyses are entirely
factual, and our experts are selected for their
independance.
